The WATERWISE ERASMUS+ PROJECT - Advancing Water Sustainability in the Green Transition: A European Educational Initiative reaches an important milestone in its journey.

A Strategic Meeting in the Heart of Andalusia

On November 6th and 7th, representatives of the project partners - Centro Studi AMIStaDeS APS, AB AQUA - Think Tank di Idrostrategia, LOVILA and Universidad de Almería - met in Almería, Spain, for the final transnational meeting, hosted at the Universidad de Almería – CIESOL.

Key Topics of the Meeting

During the two working days, crucial themes for the future of WATERWISE were addressed:

🔹 Monitoring of project activities

🔹 Focus on the European Hydrostrategy and coordination of research activities

🔹 Discussion and refinement of the project's main goals

A particularly significant moment was the presentation by AB AQUA of the results of their research: a comparative and multidisciplinary study on water management systems in Italy, Spain and Cyprus, with concrete recommendations for a future European hydrostrategy.

Next Steps

💻 What's next?

The next stage involves the development of an **online training course** dedicated to sustainable water resources management, which will represent a fundamental educational tool for professionals and stakeholders in the sector.
